Preparation
Preparation• Prepare all the ingredients
Method:
• Heat the oil in a saucepan or similar
• Sweat the onion cubes
• Add the garlic
• Add the tomato purée
• Add the apple juice
• Fill up with the peeled tomatoes
• Season to taste with the powdered vegetable bouillon,
salt, pepper and herbs
• Cook through and stabilise using the thickening agent
Tip:
• sauce can be left chunky or turned into a smooth purée depending on your diners’ preference.
