Preparation
Preparation :• Put the rice in a strainer and rinse well under cold water. When the water runs clear the rice is ready to cook.
Method:
• Preheat the oven to 100° C and 100% steam.
• Put the water and rice in the Gastronorm trays steam cook for 17 minutes.
• Stir the rice grains with a fork.
Hint:
• 1 Gastro tray 1/1 = 1.3kg basmati rice and 1.750l water = 3kg of steamed rice.
