• Prepare all the ingredients

Method:
• Heat the sesame oil in a suitable pot
• Gently cook the garlic, ginger and the Sambal in the oil
• Add the tomato concentrate
• Deglaze with the apple cider vinegar
• Add the water and bring it to the boil
• Season with the bouillon, the sugar, the ketchup and the soy sauce
• Let simmer for 10 minutes
• Mix the cornflour with the orange juice
• Bind the sauce with the cornflour and let simmer for a further 5 minutes

Suggestion:
• This is a good base sauce for many recipes, eg with pineapple cubes, with vegetables, etc
