Preparation

Preparation:
• Prepare all the ingredients
• Wash the lemons well under running water

Method:
• Cut the lemons into fine slices or shave them
• Place the lemon slices in a jar
• In an appropriate pot bring to the boil water, salt and sugar
• Pour the seasoned boiling water straight onto the lemons
• Immediately close the cover
• Keep cool and away from the light for 2 weeks to allow the lemon slices to soak in the marinate

Suggestion:
• Add a little extra touch of flavour with an aniseed star
