Preparation
Preparation:• Prepare all the ingredients
• Marinate the vegan strips with the mustard
• Prepare the bacon according to the recipe
• Prepare the mayonnaise according to the recipe
• Prepare the vegetable antipasti according to the recipe
Method:
• Fry the marinated strips in medium-hot rapeseed oil until browned all over.
• Toast the bread
• Assemble the toast :
o Spread half the mayonnaise over the first slice of bread
o Add the tomato slices
o Put the strips and bacon on top
o 2nd slice of toast
o Spread the rest of the mayonnaise over it
o Put the lettuce on top
o Then add the antipasti vegetables
o 3rd slice of toast
• Place 4 skewers, one on each edge of the club sandwich
• Cut the Club Sandwich in 4 diagonally
• Plate it and put the chips in the middle
Suggestion:
• Can be a complete meal with chips in place of the paprika crisps
• With wholegrain toast as a “healthier option”
